South Tyneside Council is looking to recommission services to address the misuse of substances including alcohol, novel psychoactive substances (NPS), illicit drugs and misused prescription medication. A summary of the services to be delivered under this contract include, but are not limited to: A summary of the services to be delivered under this contract include, but are not limited to: • Stabilization and assessment • Recovery and re-integration • Harm reduction • Psycho-social interventions • Structured day care • Substitute prescribing including related drug and prescribing costs • Supervised Consumption • GPs Shared Care • Residential and Community Detoxification • Residential rehab pathways • Complex needs • Non user support pathways • Criminal Justice based interventions to reduce offending and re-offending • Hospital based alcohol services • Brief interventions and advice
