Healthwatch Isle of Wight

Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council (\"the Authority\") invites Tenders from suitably qualified providers (\"Tenderers\") for the provision of Healthwatch Isle of Wight. The contract is to run from 1 January 2018 for a period of 5 years with the option to extend for a further period of up to 3 years at the sole discretion of the Authority. The Island's local Healthwatch is an independent and effective local voice which provides information and advice for Islanders about health and social care services and directs people to services to ensure that they understand the choice of care available. It also involves local people in improving and shaping the services on which they rely. The allocated budget for these services is in the range of £140,000.00 to £150,000.00 per annum. The decision has been taken to disclose the annual budget for the service and ask that tenderers demonstrate how they can deliver the service within this budget allocation The Authority is unable to consider any submission that does not come within this figure; however, tenderers are able to submit under the allocated budget. The closing date for receipt of Tenders is 14:00Hrs on 8 November 2017.
