SCC would like to review the way in which we offer support to adults with complex and multiple needs. We would like to find creative and innovative solutions which enable people to manage their needs, obtain and sustain their accommodation, and, where possible, regain their independence. We would like to start the process of meeting with like-minded providers who wish to look at the best ways of working across systems and using resolution based approaches to improve outcomes for people such as this. The future opportunities may include workforce development programmes across the whole system; sustainable, flexible and personalised accommodation and support solutions; support available to landlords for example. As the experts we are hoping you can help us to devise a future housing related support model which can deliver positive outcomes for this complex group of individuals.
