Tender description

The Special Educational Needs and Disability Information Advice Support Service (SENDIASS) provides independent information, advice and support to parents and carers of children and young people with SEN and /or disabilities and young people (16-25 years) with SEN and /or disabilities as per the Send code of practice 2015. Gloucestershire is looking to commission a dynamic and innovative organisation with a good track record of providing information, advice and support services to diverse communities, to tender for this contract. Alongside this, we would like to hear from organisations committed to continual development and improvement of service. Building an effective volunteer base, together with paid staff, to deliver this service is an essential requirement of this contract. We also require experience of effective engagement with young people with Send. We expect potential contractors to understand requirements within the Send code of practice 2015 and the national quality standards for services providing impartial information, advice and support.
