Tender description

The fast confocal microscope system covered by this requirement is intended to provide the Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge with a high-speed multichannel fluorescence imaging system capable of super-resolution imaging and optimised for live sample imaging (minimised photo-bleaching and phototoxicity). The system shall be capable of fluorescence imaging of live cultured cells, motile live cells, freely moving small model organisms and of live tissue explants. We are looking for a ‘latest generation’ instrument that offers improvements in imaging performance over our existing spinning disk confocal microscope.
