Who Speclialist Work With Networks BLOS is a combined Military, Civilian and contractor team to provide Skynet 5 services. The direct line manager for this post is MoD Civil Servant. What Specialists Work On The role provides service performance analysis, payment of invoices, compensation events, sentencing and management processes contained in the SKYNET 5 PFI contract and providing Continuing Service Assurance of specific MOD services. The post is responsible for advising on contractual payments iaw the SKYNET 5 contract, service credits and implications of poor performance. This includes responsibility for remedial actions for errors on invoices or failures of service and assuring corrective actions have been taken as agreed and responsible for providing historical information on the SKYNET 5 PFI contract. The role is critical to preparing the transition from Skynet 5 to FBLOS. Where the Work Takes Place Hawthorn site, Corsham, Wiltshire. SN13 9NP Early Market Engagement None Working Arrangements All tasking will take place from MoD Corsham to enable working in the BLOS team, and therefore attendance is expected 5 days a week. The working day will be 8 hours, including a 30 min lunch break. Day visits may be required within the UK including Portsmouth, Stevenage and Oakhanger. Overnight visits will only be permitted if permissions is sought in advance. Work Location Hawthorn site, Corsham, Wiltshire. SN13 9NP Security Clearance SC clearance must be in place for the duration of the contract Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Business Analysis - knowledge and experience of working in a Business Analysis role. (30%) Service performance analysis - understand and demonstrate service performance and provide evidence of performance evaluation (20%) Business Process Improvement - knowledge of business improvement processes and process change management (15%) Process Audit - demonstrate experience of reviewing business processes and analysing impacts to current processes. This includes managing change. (15%) Nice to Haves Knowledge of military communications systems, specifically satallite communications (10%) Understanding and experience of working with a PFI contract (10%) No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria Demonstrate working in a mixed team of military, civilian and contractor members of staff (20%) Be transparent and collaborative when making decisions (20%) Share knowledge and experience (20%) Communicates well and provides clear and concise briefs to reporting officers (20%) Confidence to raise issues identified and determination to progress to resolution (20%) Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 20% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers Budget range £600 (ex vat)
