Tender description

Oncotype DX is a test that helps determine the benefit of using chemotherapy in addition to hormone therapy for some oestrogen receptor-positive (ER positive) breast cancers. For the purchase of up to 100 Oncotype DX tests from Genomic Health. These are used within Ocology Services to determine the benefit of using chemotherapy, in addition to hormone therapy for some oestregen receptor-positive breast cancers. NICE has said that Oncotype DX is the only recommended test to help make decisions about chemotherapy after surgery.
