Tender description

Translink is the main public transport provider in Northern Ireland and it is made up of 3 companies: Metro, Ulsterbus and Northern Ireland Railways (NIR). Metro operates approximately 250 buses in Belfast and Ulsterbus provide a network of services across Northern Ireland with a fleet of 1 200 buses and coaches. Both companies provide public transport and also dedicated school bus services. Translink require a competent supplier to supply Hvac parts for the Aircon systems of our fleet buses/coaches currently totalling 293 with these systems. The parts will be primarily fitted to our fleet that consists of (Volvo, Scania M.A.N.) with fitted systems by Hispacold, Thermo- king, Sutrak and Thermobus but a flexible approach is required as other vehicle types and systems may also be added. Options will be sought for suppliers to provide OE parts to Translink to fit current Hvac systems on our fleet, and to provide technical support if required over the term of the contract. Translink require a competent supplier to supply Hvac parts for the Aircon systems of our fleet buses/coaches currently totalling 293 with these systems.
