Tender description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for a circuit brokerage and portal service. This is an information gathering exercise by Jisc. The information obtained from this RFI will be used by Jisc to determine if it is able to procure a circuit brokerage and portal service and what route to market will be appropriate. Any information submitted at this RFI stage will be non-binding but may be used to inform any future procurement of these resources. We require a circuit brokerage service that provides us with access to a portal which would enable us to obtain quotes and order circuits from the market place for a range of circuit products at bandwidths ranging from 100 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s, with a roadmap to include 100 Gbit/s connectivity when these become more generally available. Circuits would typically be point to point Ethernet circuits between a customer's premises and a Jisc Point of Presence.
