Software Solution to Support a Billing Process - RFI

Tender description

This Request for Information is being run by Jisc and responses will be used to form any potential tender for a new software solution to support the billing process which will allow customers/members to view services available to purchase and then pay for them. A variety of payment options need to be available to customers/members, such as paying up front or by using pre-agreed credit terms. The system should then generate the associated invoice which can be sent to the customer/member and kept for Jisc’s records. The process will have various triggers, for example a transaction is started by the customer/member, by the account manager or by the (automated) renewal of a subscription. The system needs to be able to cater for all of these. The system will need to interface with various other systems to populate customer/member details, which services are available to purchase by that customer/member, service pricing, and to provide financial data to Jisc’s finance system, Sage 1000. It is likely the system will need to interface with or sit within the current Jisc customer portal. Keywords: Billing, System, Software
