PROVISION OF A SPECIALIST MENTAL HEALTH CHAPLAINCY/ SPIRITUAL CARE SERVICES FOR MENTAL HEALTH INPATIENTS

Tender description

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks the provision of a specialist mental health chaplaincy/ spiritual care services from an organisation with experience in delivering chaplaincy services in geographically spread mental health inpatient and secured settings. The services are to be offered across the following centres: • Parklands Royal Oldham Hospital • Irwell Unit, Fairfield General Hospital • Hope and Horizon Unit Fairfield General Hospital • Prospect Place, Birch Hill Hospital • Buckton Building and Etherow Unit, (Including Tatton, Beckett and Hurst) Tameside General Hospital • John Elliot Unit; Birch Hill Hospital • Satellite Sites such as Rhodes Place Oldham, Stansfield Place Rochdale, However, the successful provider will not be expected to operate from one single location within the Trust, nor will there be an expectation for the service to be present at all the above mentioned venues every day. The service will operate on demand and the service user will consider how to work with the provider to ensure appropriate ad hoc office space within the units the service will operate. It would be acceptable for the main base for the service to not be on a PCFT site.
