Market Engagement Event for a Promoting Resilience Programme for Children and Young People service for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AG CSU), on behalf of the Commissioners, West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG and Leicester City CCG, would like to invite potential providers to attend a market engagement event in relation to the CCGs’ plans to procure a programme to Promote Resilience in all schools and Further Education of LLR. The objectives of this project are to promote good emotional health and resilience for all children, young people and their families. With a focus on preventing the occurrence of mental health problems, the resilience work stream will complement other work stream areas, working towards timely access to appropriate services, including Early Help and specialist mental health care. The service will include delivering a public health campaign on mental health and resilience. A key element of this will be to form partnerships with education providers to develop and deliver age appropriate education on mental health problems. The approach will create a range of ways for children, young people and carers to find out about mental health and the range of services that can help this. It is expected that the Provider will work in an integrated way with other primary mental health services, and voluntary and community groups will be integral to the provision of the service. The market engagement event will take place in the morning of Tuesday 21st February 2017, in Leicestershire, and will be an opportunity for potential providers to learn more about the proposed service and the upcoming procurement.
