Integrated Substance Misuse Service for Adults

Tender description

The Council is seeking to procure a service to address the misuse of substances including alcohol, novel psychoactive substances (NPS), illicit drugs and misused prescription medication. Following a review of substance misuse the Council is procuring an integrated service delivery model changing the focus to better target at risk groups with an increased emphasis on recovery and reintegration. A summary of the services to be delivered under this contract include, but are not limited to: - Stabilization and assessment - Recovery and re-integration - Harm reduction - Psycho-social interventions - Structured day care - Substitute prescribing including related drug and prescribing costs - Supervised consumption - GPs shared care - Residential and community detoxification - Residential rehab pathways - Complex needs - Non user support pathways - Criminal Justice based interventions to reduce offending and re-offending - Hospital based alcohol services - Brief interventions and advice Keywords: Substance, Alcohol, Drugs
