Tender description

This Service Specification sets out the provision of an advocacy service for individuals who require support under the 2014 Care Act to participate with the local authority care and support process, and wider non-statutory support to secure their rights in obtaining the services they need. These being health or social care related or wider universal services. It describes the key features of the service being commissioned. The commissioning partners will appoint a provider/s who has/have a proven track record of providing advocacy services and of working with local authorities in partnership to achieve this. The service will commence on 1.4.2017 - 31.3.2019 with the option to extend for a further 12 month period. Lot 1 — Dorset (including West, Weymouth, Purbeck, and North Dorset). Lot 2 — Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, East.
