Tender description

Provision of grounds maintenance services for Devon County Council corporate premises across the county of Devon. The Devon County Council Estate comprises approximately 70 sites including Corporate Office Buildings, Educational Units, Children's Centres, Social Care Units and Libraries. Most establishments incorporate eat least the following areas of work: Regular Grass Cutting; Rough Grass Cutting; Hedges; Shrub beds; Direct labour; Miscellaneous Weed Killing and Moss and Algae treatments. Devon County Council seeks to engage a single grounds maintenance contractor to provide grounds maintenance services for approximately 70 DCC corporate premises. Most establishments incorporate eat least the following areas of work; Regular Grass Cutting; Rough Grass Cutting; Hedges; Shrub beds; Direct labour; Miscellaneous Weed Killing and Moss and Algae treatments. The contract will be for a 59 month period from 1.2.2017 until 31.12.2021. DCC will have the ability to execute break clauses in the event of poor performance after 11 and 35 months.
