The service required from this contract is the provision of a facility to receive municipal waste from the Council and its subsequent storage, bulking up and onward transport to a Rail Transfer loading in Knowsley. The Rail Transfer Loading Station (RTLS) is located in Woodward Road, Kirkby, Merseyside, L33 3AR. For clarity, there will be no waste processing involved in this service.
