UWTV Imaging System

Tender description

At present a requirement exists for the purchase of a high definition imaging system outputting still and video imagery capable of producing geo-referenced high quality mosaics of the seabed. a. The system should be capable of integrating with its existing under water TV system (UWTV) and replace the current PAL video with a digital system as outlined in Appendix 3 of the ITT. b. The system must be capable of acquiring ultra-high definition geo referenced images suitable for creating mosaics of the seabed for the purposes of assessment of Nephrops populations. c. The system must be capable of integrating navigation strings into the stills and video. d. The system should have an integrated ranging laser system to calibrate the field of view of the camera. e. The system should be capable of outputting high definition real time video in parallel with stills acquisition. f. Lighting should be a strobe type LED system designed to minimise power requirement. g. The system must integrate with the existing bottom and topside Multiplexer system and be suitable for mounting on the existing camera sledge.
