Tralee Bay Endangered Skates

Tender description

At present a requirement exists for the supply of services to collect, collate and report the essential habitat, spawning and nursery sites for these endangered skates off the west coast of Ireland. The work program will include: • Survey design and implementation of verifiable nurseries/spawning areas/essential habitats • Identification of regional and local hotspots for future intense research efforts • Studies to elucidate extent of spawning season in fine local detail in verified hotspots • Establishment of website to enhance profile of the work, assist data collection and dissemination • Public outreach activities to enhance profile of the work, assist data collection and dissemination • Meetings with Marine Institute • Project report covering above Full details are available in the attached Invitation to Tender document.
