Tender description
Somerset County Council commission a Housing Related Support Service in Sheltered Housing. Support is provided to people with higher level support needs which would otherwise make it very difficult for them to remain in their sheltered flat or bungalow Within the Mendip area Somerset County Council commissions this service into 21 schemes. There are approximately 600 individual units spread across the Mendip area. It is the intention of Somerset County Council to procure the Service for a six month period from 1st April until 17th October 2018, to align with the end of all the other Sheltered Housing contracts in Somerset. We would like to work in partnership with the successful provider (the “Contractor”) to build a picture of the current provision, understand what works well and what does not and assist us with the involvement and consultation process as part of the wider review.
