Tender description

Purchase, receipt transport and treatment by recycling of co-mingled containers and commingled paper and card. Lot 1 — Fibres Requires collection by the contractor from a council-controlled transfer facility within Stroud District a stream of contract recyclable fibres including co-mingled paper, sacks, and cartons collected by Stroud District Council. The Council shall provide loading equipment and undertake the loading of contractor’s vehicles. Tonnage for contractor’s onward haulage and treatment by recycling is approximately 5,000 tonnes each year. Lot 2 — Containers Requires collection by the contractor from a council-controlled transfer facility within Stroud District a stream of contract recyclable containers including co-mingled glass, mixed rigid plastics, mixed cans, aerosols, and foil collected by Stroud District Council. The Council shall provide loading equipment and undertake the loading of contractor’s vehicles. Tonnage for contractor’s onward haulage and treatment by recycling is approximately 6,000 tonnes each year.
