Tender description
The Department of Nursing at Waterford Institute of Technology, the only centre for third level nursing education and health related research in the south east of Ireland providing undergraduate programmes preparing students for registration with An Bord Altranais (the Nursing Board) in general, psychiatric and intellectual disability nursing. As a result of increasing demands on health care services and changes in health care delivery through, for example, new health care technologies and an emphasis on new community services we are expanding our simulation and medical equipment to enhance nurse training at the facility. This equipment is expect to further develop key skills in nursing practice
