Invitation To Quote for Cultural Assets Review

Warrington Borough Council is currently inviting quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultancy firms or partnerships to undertake a strategic review of current engagement with arts and culture drawing on population data, TGI and data provided by organisations within the borough. Comparisons would be made with cultural provision in 2-3 comparator Local Authorities. A high level of demand analysis is required to determine the potential demand for cultural activity within the borough, keeping a clear focus on the Cultural Framework and ambitions already set out in City of Culture bid, and taking into account existing and future assets. Alongside this, high level consultation using existing resources within the borough (schools, community groups, etc.) will be required to determine the kind of cultural activities that people within the borough would like to engage in. This process should also have a particular (though not exclusive) focus on a potential provision of a new theatre. Keywords: Cultural Asset, Asset review
