Tender description

Following an internal review North Yorkshire Police (NYP) have identified that five case management systems/processes are in use across the following Business areas within the force: — Evolve Legal Teams (based in North Yorkshire Police; Cleveland Police; and Durham Constabulary) — using Iken, Solcase, internal drive and spreadsheets, — Human Resources — using internal drive and MS SharePoint, — Integrated Offender Management (IOM) — using internal drive, — Organised Crime Unit, Financial Investigation Unit & Major Fraud (OCU/FIU/MFRAUD) — using internal drive and spreadsheets, — Occupational Health and Welfare Unit (OHWU) — using internal drive and MS SharePoint, — Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) — using CMIT and internal drive. NYP are wanting to explore the possibility of adopting a single Case Management System with Business Process Management (BPM) functionality to cover all Business areas identified above. This PIN notice is being raised in order to invite companies to participate in NYP Soft-market testing aimed at exploring the possibility of reducing the range of Case Management Software currently deployed across the force and also to provide a resource for departments that may not have case management software currently in place. The soft-market testing is designed to improve our understanding of the market and what is available as well as helping inform the specification which requires further development before we issue a tender out to the market.
