Contract for the rebuilding of the wall surrounding St. Catherine’s Health Centre, Birkenhead

Tender description

St. Catherine’s Hospital has a large car park surrounding the main buildings. A brick wall surrounds the car park. Elm Road and Derby Road are on the opposite face of the wall. In general, the car park level is lower than the road level on the opposite face of the wall. The boundary wall surrounds the majority of the car park to St. Catherine’s Health Centre. The wall extends above upper ground level by approximately 2.0 m on the rear face, but this varies along the length of the wall on the front elevation. Generally, the wall comprises solid brickwork, however, in some places railings have been provided towards the top of the wall and generally in this instance the wall height has been reduced.
