Tender description

The London Borough of Croydon is seeking to appoint a lead provider for provision of Home Visits, Surveying and Support Service for approximately 600 households living in private sector housing by professional energy assessors. The Home Visit will include fitting small energy efficiency measures, energy efficiency advice, energy tariff support, support with any damp and mould issues, and a health and wellbeing survey signposting and referring residents to appropriate support in Croydon. A survey of the property will establish whether any larger energy efficiency measures would be appropriate for the property, such as wall and loft insulation, energy efficient boilers and draft proofing. Croydon Council intends to run a follow-on project to source grant funding (ECO or other) for larger energy efficiency measures, to arrange quotes for, and to manage the installation of the measures. The Croydon Healthy Homes Home Visits will create many of the leads for this follow on project.
