Southend-on-Sea Borough Council invites Electronic Tender Responses for the running of its General Market (Lot A) and its Farmers Market (Lot B). The Council wishes to enter into an agreement(s) with an experienced and capable Market Operator(s) to manage, operate and grow the appeal of the market(s). The Council wants to encourage a vibrant and diverse High Street experience with a high quality offer for residents and visitors alike. The Market Operator(s) must have the time, resource and expertise to develop the potential of the market(s) and increase the level of income generated. The deadline for receipt of clarification requests relating to the procurement is: Noon Friday 12th January 2018.
