The Scope of this framework includes: — Site Electrical Testing — Site Support Services The Scope of this new framework includes Supply of Site Electrical Testing & Site Support Services including (but not limited to) the following: — Site Electrical Testing: — — required in support of a range of business activities including commissioning, planned maintenance, fault investigation and condition assessment. — — a range of electrical tests is required to support a wide range of asset types. — — the main areas of activity include: — — — Condition Assessment Tests for Transformers, — — — Bushings and Transformers, — — — Surge Arrestor Fingerprint Test, — — — Radio Frequency Interference surveys, — — — Acoustic Noise Surveys, — — — Testing of Plant items in-situ, — — — Ultra-sonic location of partial discharge in transformers on-line, — — — back energization of faulted transformers under controlled conditions to evaluate fault, and, — — — leaks detection in GIS equipment & earthing Surveys. — — the tests are not limited to a standard portfolio and in some circumstances will require innovative solutions and testing methods, and must ensure compliance with National Grid Policies which include appropriate Safety, Quality and Environmental standards in place. — — the testing must be done within an ISO 9001 quality system UKAS accreditation is desirable. — — any Vendor awarded a contract, will be required to provide detailed test procedures, programmes, method statements and risk assessments and a test report detailing test methods, results and relevant information to allow the test to be repeated. — Site Support Services: — — the Scope will include (but not limited to) the following: — — — Project Management, — — — Transformer Inspection and Repairs, — — — Transformer scrapping and consultancy, — — — "On the job" Training on the above, — — — Procurement, — — — installation and repair of Online Monitoring Devices, — — — specialist portable online solutions, and, — — — Sensors and Internet Gateway devices & Gas in oil and moisture sensors.
