Tender description
The objective of the work is to select an appropriate jurisdiction on which to model Guernsey’s disability discrimination/equality legislation. The Committee has identified a shortlist of six common-law jurisdictions as potential candidates (i.e. United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong) and a lay-review of the relevant legislation from these jurisdictions has commenced. Expert input is required to assist the Committee to select a jurisdiction on which to model Guernsey’s disability discrimination/equality legislation.
