Tender description

The current systems, which are paper based, are used and administered by five staff members within Leeds Building Services, however the system must be able to support additional users and administrators. Below are the outline requirements that a solution would be required to provide: Estimators A solution that provides Estimators with the ability to: — Link to our suppliers to produce real-time accurate costs of supplies and materials; — Where a supplier does not have on line real-time costs, the ability to hold a catalogue is required; — Take off plan (ability to upload plans and scale to work out materials required); — Take off screen (ability to allow digital take off from pdf documents); — Build templates for reoccurring works or works of similar nature; — Add in contingency and risk calculations; — Ability to read C.A.D. drawings; — Provide self-populating documents to send to clients including options to include or hide estimate data. E.g. Quote letter populated with the reference and details of estimate, including option to provide cost only or full breakdown; — System to record the AI (Architects Instruction) and tally these up to update the initial estimate; and — Allow the build in of preliminary costs.
