Tender description

The objective of this Maintenance Contract is for Translink to secure a Contractor to provide routine Planned Preventative maintenance (PPMs), emergency call outs, ad-hoc callouts throughout the Translink network in accordance with current legislation. For: Interceptor cleaning, Bus Wash clean, Note — Bus wash waste and Interceptor waste must be processed separately, i.e. not processed through the same vehicle — system at the same time, Jetting — sewer, drains and road gullies etc., CCTV surveys, Oil remediation, Cured in Place Piping, Repairs to interceptors, pipe breakages and tree root removal. In addition, to the above, the appointed must also be able to provide essential emergency Environmental cover that may arise from accidental spillage of diesel fuel, heating oil and other similar bulk liquid materials. The service requirement is 24 hours a day, 52 weeks per year with an on-site presence anywhere in Northern Ireland within 4 hours of call out. This notice is to initiate an early market engagement exercise. It does not indicate the start of any formal procurement exercise. A separate specific OJEU procurement exercise will be advertised at the appropriate point in the future. Parties with whom discussions may have been held will be required to submit their applications to be involved in the respective procurement in the normal manner. It is anticipated that any meetings related to this exercise will be held during mid December — mid January. Translink takes no responsibility for any actions or decisions taken, costs incurred or commitments made by parties in responding to this notice or by being involved in any subsequent discussions relating to this early market engagement exercise. All parties agree that the matters discussed between them during this course of this early market engagement exercise will remain confidential to those particular parties.
