Tender description

The contractor shall supply a physiotherapy service using suitably qualified personnel operating within the scope of their qualifications and experience, which shall be available to the authority’s entitled personnel referred from primary care, at Fulwood Barracks Medical centre for up to 22 hours each week. Duration 3 years plus 2 options (Starting 1.1.2018 - 31.12.2020 (less options). Fulwood Medical Centre cares for a PAR of approximately 400. Physiotherapy services are provided by contract, which provides 22 hours per week for 46 weeks per year. Fulwood is a part of Weeton Medical Centre, which does not have capacity on site to treat the population at risk from Fulwood. Timing of sessions is to be agreed between the practice manager and the contractor and some flexibility is expected of the contractor both in providing sessions and in completing all work required during any particular session. However, the total amount of services available to the authority must be maintained at the 22 hours per week level for 46 weeks per annum.
