PAN1757 - Restoration Works for War Memorials

Tender description

Leicester City Council (the Authority) invites quotations for the provision of restoration works at three war memorials. The proposed contract will be for 1st March 2018 to 30 April 2018 with an option to extend until 1st September 2018. We anticipate awarding to a single Supplier. This project focuses on restoring the War Memorials at: - Aylestone Conservation Area (please see the following webpage for details and location of the memorial: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1433210); - Town Hall Square Conservation Area (please see the following webpage for details and location of the memorial: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1185421); and, - Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth I College (please see the following webpage for details and location of the memorial: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1433242). The project aims to improve local appreciation and understanding of these valuable heritage assets, whilst restoring each of these memorials to their former glory. The project seeks to conserve this significant local heritage asset for present and future generations to experience and enjoy.
