Tender description
NHSBT is seeking to engage with suppliers who can supply products for pre-donation donor arm cleaning. Validation data demonstrating the ability to achieve a 95 % bacterial reduction will be required. As part of this tender process, NHSBT may work with the other UK Blood Services and the Irish Blood Transfusion Service. There will be a supplier engagement day in January 2019. The contract required for replacement arm cleansing system for NHSBT (England). A collaborative approach may be adopted incorporating supply to Ireland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Contract type to be determined.
