This Contract award Notice sets out the Awarded Supplier to recruit assessors and to manage the process of assessing schools for the NQA, from the nomination of the school through to providing a final assessment report. Public Health Wales sought a supplier to undertake the assessment of achievement for the Welsh Network of Healthy School Schemes National Quality Award. The Welsh Network of Healthy School Schemes (WNHSS) is a grant funded initiative whereby local health boards employ healthy school practitioners to work directly with schools, helping them identify health improvement needs within the national framework. Schools then implement actions, addressing one or more of seven health topics. The Client requires the successful contractor to recruit assessors and to manage the process of assessing schools for the NQA, from the nomination of the school through to providing a final assessment report. In delivering this contract the successful contractor will be required to: — Organise and manage the assessment process including the allocation of assessors within required standards — Provide support and advice on the assessment process to schools; local healthy school practitioners as required — Undertake the assessment according to the assessment process agreed with the client; feedback and reporting — Participation in the development of the Welsh Network of Healthy School Schemes processes to ensure learning from assessment is shared — Collect and prepare monitoring data and attend regular communication and engagement with the client to facilitate monitoring of this contract The contract will have a duration of three years with the option to renew for a period of up to two years.
