Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint a care/support provider with the purpose of supporting Retford Road Supported Living Scheme to enable Service Users to maintain their home, promote independence, increase life skills, social inclusion and to support the Service Users to achieve maximum choice and control in their lives. Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking to appoint a care/support provider with the purpose of supporting Retford Road Supported Living Scheme to enable Service Users to maintain their home, promote independence, increase life skills, social inclusion and to support the Service Users to achieve maximum choice and control in their lives. The care and support provider will support residents in 4 bungalows, 1 of which will be used for emergency accommodation, the other 3 will be long term homes for people who need support. It is envisioned that 1 or 2 residents will need 24 hour waking support and the other 1 or 2 will benefit from there being a staff presence for 24 hours (rather than needing direct support).
