This is a prior information notice (PIN) to advertise an early market engagement only. Publication and call for competition will be conducted once scope of work is fully defined and approved by the UK Government. DFID is launching a procurement to source a supplier to deliver a 3 year programme of technical assistance to the Palestinian Authority as part of the Stability, Services and Reform Programme (SSRP). The objective of the technical assistance programme is to improve the capability and accountability of the Palestinian Authority. This is a prior information notice (PIN) to advertise an early market engagement event only. Publication and call for competition will be conducted once scope of work is fully defined and approved by the UK Government. DFID is launching a procurement to source a supplier to deliver a 3 year programme of technical assistance to the Palestinian Authority as part of the Stability, Services and Reform Programme (SSRP). The objective of the technical assistance programme is to improve the capability of the Palestinian Authority. The SSRP already provides financial aid to fund the salaries of health and education professionals working in the West Bank region of the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The technical assistance component is seperate to the financial aid component. This procurement relates only to the technical assistance component. The Early Market Engagement event will provide an opportunity for suppliers to learn more about the planned programme. DFID will deliver a short presentation on the programme before answering questions form suppliers. The objectives of the event are: 1) Generate awareness of the opportunity amongst a broad base of suppliers — DFID is keen to receive a wide range of bids; 2) Give suppiers an early opportunity to ask questions about the project and/or procurement process; 3) Seek feedback on the Terms of Reference; and 4) Provide a networking opportunity for a diverse range of suppliers who may be interested in bidding for the project. Further details will be advertised via the DFID supplier portal in due course. DFID will deliver a presentation covering various aspects of the programme and pose questions to attendees on the proposed outputs and delivery channels, as well as asking questions from suppliers. The Early Market Engagement Event will be held on Friday 15.12.2017 at 13:00 UK Time and will be held in the following locations: Department for International Development, 22 Whitehall, London, SW1A 2EG with a VC link to DFID Jerusalem. Parties interested in attending this event or requiring any further information should first register interest in this programme via the DFID Supplier Portal (https://supplierportal.dfid.gov.uk/selfservice/) where details on how to register this event are provided. This will be the main communication channel for this programme.
