Staffordshire County Council are procuring these services on behalf of Stafford Borough Council. The contract will be between SBC and the successful provider. The Council is seeking to commission appropriate design and contract management services ahead of the formal decision on its application to the Heritage Lottery Fund in order to be in a position to undertake an immediate implementation of the next phase of the restoration project. The Council is therefore seeking tenders from appropriate consultants on the basis of a successful outcome to the grant application to HLF. The Lead Consultant will be expected to work closely with the Council's Project Manager who will have day-to-day responsibility for the management of the commission. In addition, the consultant will need to work with officers of the Council's Project Delivery Team and other Council staff and advisors to ensure that the project is delivered within the agreed budget and programme, meeting project objectives and satisfying the requirements of the HLF and the client.
