Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to receive quotations from provider bidders for a modern, integrated, recovery orientated, Community Substance Misuse Service (Alcohol and Drugs) for adults and young people in Knowsley. The service will aim to support people to break their dependence on drugs and alcohol and to enable them to be active citizens, playing a full and meaningful part in the community. Relating to national policy and outcomes, the service will aim to: — Reduce Demand — preventing adults and young people from misusing substances, — Build Recovery — offering adults and young people with a dependence problem the best chance of recovery through support at every stage of their life.
