AHDB Beef and Lamb Representation in Portugal and Sub Saharan Africa

AHDB Exports are looking for a Portuguese/French/English speaking Representative to cover the Portuguese and sub-Saharan African market, maintaining contact and working jointly with beef and lamb exporters, agents, representatives, importers, distributors, food service operators and retailers. The Representative must have a deep knowledge of working with beef and lamb exporters within the Portuguese and sub-Saharan market; and to have strong general knowledge of the market. They will be required to liaise directly with members of the AHDB Export team, and to represent on behalf of AHDB to local and overseas authorities such as DIT, Embassies, Consulates and High Commissions. AHDB require the representative to be based or have a commercial office in Portugal. The contract is for 3 years starting on the 1st April 2018, ending on the 31st March 2021. Please note: This contract will entail a review and break clause after each 12-month period.
