Tender description

Doncaster Council invites fully qualified and certified forestry operatives to tender for the purchase of approximately 640 tonnes of standing timber (mainly scots pine, larch and sycamore) as a thinning operation at Black Carr Plantation, Doncaster. The tender must take the form of a standing sale price per tonne for all products cut. Thinning intensity shall not exceed 30 % of standing trees. Quotations will be assessed on both quality and price. A score will be given for each part of the information submitted that is to be assessed. The maximum amount of marks available for quality will be 60 %. The maximum of marks available for price will be 40 %.
