Or by contacting Phil Murray by email on pmurray@waterfordcouncil.ie Rehabilitation works are on three bridges. The works include: Ballyvooney Cove Bridge - Vegetation clearance - Repointing and repair of masonry - Installation of concrete bed lining - Installation of rock armour to riverbed and upstream embankments - Grouting of abutments - Repointing of arch barrel - Installation of tie bars - Traffic management Lemybrien Bridge - Vegetation clearance - Repointing of masonry - Repair of masonry - Replacement of concrete scour skirt downstream - Installation of rock armour in river bed Caherbrack Bridge - Removal of vegetation from structure - Repointing of masonry - Installation of rubbing strips - Replacement of Road surfacing - Installation of road drainage outlets - Repair of masonry bed lining Note: The inclusion of any of the above structures in the contract is dependent on statutory procedures and available funding. A final decision on the structures to be included will be made prior to contract award. Note: The Contractor should allow in their programme for all in-river bridge works to be undertaken at the beginning of the programme in order to comply with Inland Fisheries Ireland guidelines.
