Tender description
First step, easy access courses to improve parents literacy/numeracy learning (crèche can be provided) to: - • improve the family’s ability to communicate generally • improve the parents’ confidence when communicating or working with numbers • support their children’s readiness for school/in school; and • increase the parents’ capacity to work Activities should be affordable and easy for parents to duplicate at no/low cost at home with their children. Sessions should be no longer than 1hr 45mins in length and the total guided learning hours for the courses should not exceed 21 learning hrs. Sessions for 'adults only' must be delivered in MORNING slots. This must not duplicate Level 1 & 2 Literacy and Numeracy provision already provided within Bromley borough Keywords: adult skills, adult education, literacy, numeracy, parenting
