Tender description

NHS England (North West Hub) are looking for specialist services for patients with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) across three geographical lots in the North West of England. The resulting contract will be for 5 years with an option to extend for another 2 periods of 12 months. The providers will operate specialist centres (most likely co-located with an acute hospital) which will offer assessment, treatment planning, monitoring and discharge. Providers are required to complete expressions of interest which will be evaluated and selected providers will be invited to negotiate. The service is required to start from 1.7.2018. The prices will be National Tariff rates, per service user. The contract value are estimates and do not include the costs of drugs. Services to be provided to patients with Interstitial Lung Disease in the geographical area of Greater Manchester. Services to be provided to patients with Interstitial Lung Disease in the geographical area of Lancashire and South Cumbria. Services to be provided to patients with Interstitial Lung Disease in the geographical area of Liverpool, Mersey, Wirral and Cheshire.
