Tender description

The Department of Culture, Heritage, and the Gaeltacht is seeking to procure expert project management services for 3 different elements of the management of the raised bog network. One element is the relocation of turf cutters from designated raised bog SACs and NHAs to non-designated bogs. The second element is the application of the provisions of Article 6.3 of the Habitats Directive, subject to the necessary consents and permissions, within up to 8 raised bog SACs and the third element is the restoration of certain designated raised bogs. The successful applicant will have responsibility for managing several sites and preparing for and overseeing infrastructure works in all sites.
