Tray wrap and Sterilisation products used in Sterile Services Department including non-woven tray wrap, sterilisation paper, pouches, bags, and reels, sterilisation monitoring and testing, indicator strips, dressing towels and sheets, tray liners and sealing tape. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 2 800 000 GBP to 3 400 000 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. The estimated value over the total Framework Agreement term (including any extension options) of between 11 200 000 GBP and 13 600 000 GBP This lot contains products that are suitable for the inner and outer wrapping of sterilisation trays. Products include sterilisation paper, tray wrap and transport wrap all designed for the wrapping, sterilisation and transportation of surgical trays. This lot contains bags, pouches and reels used for the packaging and sterilisation of small instruments. Products designed to check the efficiency of the sterilisation process, including Bowie and Dick testing kits and indication paper/ tape. Products that can be used within surgical trays with instruments placed on top or can be used beneath the exterior of the trays ensuring protection against sharp edges and dispersion of condensate. Products include air laid paper and crepe and must have high absorbency and must not produce excess lint. Various associated products including sterilisation boxes, sheets and towels. Sheets used to cover work areas, pillows, benches and trays in clinical areas. Towels include dressing towels suitable for dressing packs and scrim towels for use in gown packs.
