London Borough of Sutton Beddiington Park Enforcement trial - Soft Market Testing

The Commission - The London Borough of Sutton is seeking an experienced contractor to deliver an enforcement and permitting trial within Beddington Park. The trial will run from April-October 2018, and will then be reviewed to determine what sort of service will be implemented long-term. The park struggles from parking in non-designated areas and, during the summer, large groups of visitors causing excessive noise and lighting unauthorised fires and barbecues. They also prevent others using the existing free, static barbecue stands for long periods of time - a permitting/hiring system is sought to reduce this problem and generate revenue. Soft Market Testing - London Borough of Sutton is inviting all interested parties to participate in a soft market testing exercise to refine the specification for this trial commission. Sutton Council will use the information gathered during soft market testing to reflect the expertise and capacity of the current market. Interested parties are asked to firstly review the commissioning specification and then provide answers to the questions as set out below. A soft market testing event will also be held on Thursday 30th November between 10am and 4.30pm at the London Borough of Sutton Council Offices, Denmark Road, Carshalton, SM5 2JG.
