Tender description

London Borough of Hounslow (The Authority) will directly award a contract to the London Wildlife Trust (‘LWT’) in relation to a special Riverside Walk Project at The Crane Catchment. The reason for the direct award is that LWT has over 7 years' experience working in fisheries management and at the Crane Valley for over 4 years. In addition to sound environmental knowledge of the catchment, LWT can continue established and direct communication with key stakeholders via its networks. The Authority is seeking continuity in the management of the site, LWT have been active with land management in the catchment for over 30 years. The Authority wants to continue working with LWT who also work with local authorities to improve public spaces elsewhere in the catchment via The Crane Valley Partnership. The Partnership provides a forum for stakeholders within Crane Valley to share expertise and collaboratively work together to improve the condition of the catchment's rivers and open spaces. LBH intend to make a direct award to LWT for a period of 6 months.
