GRANT - Co-Production of Personalised Care

NHS England’s Personalised Care Group develops policy and supports the practical implementation of different kinds of person-centred approaches to health and care, including personal health budgets. NHS England is seeking interested applicants to apply for Grant funding. The purpose of this Grant is to grow and sustain the capacity of people with lived experience, and family members, to co-produce, co-design and co-deliver the development of personal health budgets and a range of other initiatives aimed at giving choice and control to patients and the public. The grant is expected to run for two years, commencing April 2018. Skills and experience required include: • An in depth knowledge of approaches to person and community centred care • Experience of supporting people with lived experience to have significant influence on a relevant area of public policy • Finance and administration skills • Organisational and planning skills • Experience of supporting national initiatives • Training and development expertise and skills Further information regarding this grant opportunity, including conditions of assessment and selection, is contained within the Invitation to Apply (ITA) documentation. NHS England is exercising its powers under Section 13X of the NHS Act 2006 (as amended) to provide a grant to a “Voluntary Organisation” which provides or arranges services that are similar to NHS England’s functions. “Voluntary Organisation” is defined under Section 275 of the NHS Act 2006 (as amended by the Health and Social Care Act 2012) as a body the activities of which are carried on otherwise than for profit, but does not include any public or local authority. As such this funding opportunity is only open to organisations that meet the requirements above.
