Tender description

Jisc is seeking to enter into a 3 year contract with John Hopkins University Press to provide specific journals to it's member institutions. JHUP is a publisher of scholarly publications and a division of the Johns Hopkins University (‘JHUP’), a non-profit educational institution and the creator, developer, owner, and distributor of the aggregated online electronic Database of scholarly publications known as Project MUSE® The Johns Hopkins University Press (JHUP), a publisher of scholarly publications and a division of the Johns Hopkins University (‘JHU’), a not for profit educational institution organized under the state laws of Maryland, USA. Project MUSE was launched in 1995 by the Johns Hopkins University Press, in collaboration with the Milton S. Eisenhower Library at Johns Hopkins University, to offer the full text of JHUP scholarly journals via the Web. In 1999, MUSE expanded to become a partnership of not-for-profit publishers, increasing its ability to offer essential periodicals in the humanities, the arts and the social sciences. This is unique content and cannot be offered or found anywhere else.
