Tender description

This is a collaborative procurement featuring local authorities in Dorset. The Authorities are responsible for the management of public car parks and on street parking places within the boundaries of the Authorities. The Authorities have used cashless parking services for different periods as follows: 1 Borough of Poole since 2009 2 Bournemouth Borough Council since 2006 3 Christchurch Borough Council since 2007 4 East Dorset County Council since 2014 5 Dorset County Council since 2013 6 Purbeck District Council since 2011 7 Swanage Town Council since 2011 8 Weymouth & Portland Borough Council since 2011 9 West Dorset District Council since 2011 10 North Dorset District Council since 2011 The Authorities are looking to appoint a service provider to provide and expand this cashless parking service. The major conurbation of Authorities has a high residential population, a large number of commuters travelling to work in the area and it is also a popular tourist destination.
